Those rubber tyred trams remind me of Paris Tramway Lines T5 and T6. I wonder what will happen to those trams after they reach the end of their lifespan, since Translohr doesn’t seem to make those things anymore.

My commuter line! The concept has only been around since 2018. Before that, St.Gallen was a terminus for narrow-gauge trains. It was great that you visited my city, by the way!

@Luigi-uj5ml: the signals are mainly for two car operation, imo thats a bit overequipped, as the speed is low, but the federal rail traffic administration requires certain safety levels also for small railways. As the signals are equipped with an automatic train control, they have to be in use also for only one vehicle operating.

This is one of the ten coolest things in the world!
